The Sunday Update | April 24, 2016

April 24th

Could you ever be a hero of the faith? Sunday may surprise you to know that you have more potential than you think. There will be some real surprises as to what made special people so special. Our study will help you see what your life can become when faith takes over. Read through Hebrews 11 for background.

Sunday brings another significant moment as we have two families, the Bussaniches, the Simandles, and the Snows dedicating their children to God during the second service. Sunday will be a meaningful time for us all so be sure you make it to service!

National Day of Prayer – Thursday May 5 – Constitution Park – 6:15 pm

Mark your calendars for a great concert of prayer with Christians all over Camarillo as we partner with people across our nation in this day of prayer. Dress warm, bring a lawn chair, and prepare for a great evening together.

Cave Quest VBS early registrations ends 4/30 – $18

It will be great fun for kids at Cave Quest June 20-24 (9 – 12:30). They’ll learn to see God in everyday life! To register your child click here. If you want to be one of our fabulous volunteers there are lots of areas in which to serve that will fit your gifts and will help our youngest followers know Christ and grow in him. Click here to register as a volunteer.

I hope to see you in service on Sunday. When we look at heroes of faith, we’re not just talking about the good old days – we’re talking about you; here; now. I’m praying that God will give us a new perspective that can change our lives.

In Christ,
Jim
