The Sunday Update | November 27, 2016

Sunday we return for one final but important look at God’s Blueprint for the Church in 1 Timothy 6:11-21. We’ll see overarching themes that govern the flow of our lives – not just the direction for the moment. This message also sets the stage for our Christmas season as it lifts our vision beyond our daily routine and helps us see what’s truly important!

A TRULY AMAZING CHRISTMAS

Sunday, December 4th opens up our Christmas Celebration with our Kids Choir performing A Truly Amazing Christmas at both morning services with an encore presentation on Sunday evening. This musical tells the Christmas story through traditional and contemporary music sung by our youngest worshippers. Don’t miss this opportunity to invite family and friends to hear of God’s great gift and set your hearts to worship.

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS

Our annual Christmas Youth Fundraiser Banquet is December 9-10! Tickets are on sale Sunday in the Fellowship Hall.

If you make it out to this special night you can have a great time with your church family and perhaps even some invited guests that you bring along. It’s an opportune time introduce someone to Chapel City. You’ll be treated to our fantastic students, help them go to camp, and be blessed by this great adaptation to a time-honored classic.

Let us worship together! Plan ahead to fill your Christmas Celebration with the joy of Jesus’ coming!

Christmas Eve Services – 3 pm & 4:30
Christmas Day Service – 9:00 am

Children above preschool age will celebrate Jesus’ birth in the main Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services with their parents.

After such a wonderful Harvest of Thanksgiving, my heart is full We have been truly blessed by recording and recounting God’s blessings in our lives. As our hearts turn toward Christmas in this transitional message, I’m praying that God will continue to renew our spirits and bless our hearts. Tomorrow we will hear another marvelous God story as we see him alive and at work every day in our midst. Hope to see you in service!

In Christ,
