A Truly Amazing Christmas

Sunday as our youngest worshipers become the messengers opening up our Christmas celebration. They’ll sing at both services and then encore the presentation at 5 pm. Your heart will be blessed! Remembering Christ’s birth is important. We do not superstitiously observe days merely as days, but as reminders of important facts. Christmas can be celebrated on any day or season, but if we don’t set aside a stated time, there is a danger it will be neglected (Samuel Johnson).

P.S. Attend the Camarillo Tree Lighting at Dizdar Park 5:30 on Friday 12/2 where our kids choir will be featured.

Consider a Special Year-End Gift!

Over the past few months we have seen great things happening at Chapel City Church; however, they have been challenging months financially as our freewill giving has fallen off. As we move toward a new year we ask that you prayerfully consider a special gift to help us maintain and expand our ministry. Your gift can help us move forward in our quest to declare and demonstrate God’s transforming grace to our community. We are so thankful for your prayer support and encouragement.

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS

DON’T MISS OUT! The Christmas Youth Fundraiser Banquet is next Friday and Saturday evening. Purchase your tickets on Sunday for this exceptional time of feasting and fellowship as we showcase servants’ hearts and the talent of our students, staff, and chefs that are putting this evening together. Our students’ adaptation of A Charlie Brown Christmas will bless you as Charlie seeks to find the meaning of Christmas in the din of so much holiday noise.

Let us worship together! Plan ahead to fill your Christmas Celebration with the joy of Jesus’ coming!

Christmas Eve Services – 3 pm & 4:30 pm
Christmas Day Service – 9:00 am
New Year’s Day Service – 9:00 am

Children above preschool age will celebrate Jesus’ birth in the main Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services with their parents.

Our New Year’s Day service will follow the same format.

It’s a different flavor Sunday morning as we see that infectious enthusiasm of children praising the Lord. I hope you’ll make a special effort to be in service to rejoice with them and to open the word together.

In Christ,
