Jesus Came to Die for Us

Our Easter celebration begins in earnest as we take a serious look at the things that people assumed before he rose on the resurrection Sunday that followed and what people wanted to add after his resurrection (they’re still doing it). This vital message explains the scriptural foundation upon which all else rests. Without the crucifixion and resurrection we have no faith.

EASTER WEEK WITH THE FAMILY!

This Sunday morning we begin Walk through Holy Week with a special activity for kids and parents to focus our minds on Jesus Christ and his great sacrifice for us. Parents, be sure to look for the activity tables in the patio area. You’ll be able to do a special Palm Sunday craft with them. You can also pick up supplies for special family activities you can do at home. Make Easter special this year. If you want your own digital copy you can download it directly from Focus on the Family who wrote the booklet. It’s a great family resource so register with confidence.

Spend Good Friday with us! 7 pm

We begin our Easter weekend on Friday gathering together to set our minds on Jesus. While this service remembers Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross for us, it is somber but not sorrowful, reflective but not depressing. He paid the price for us. We’ll all participate as we think about Two Gardens. One started great and ended in disaster; the other started in agony and ended in victory. It’s a great service for young and old so bring the kids along for a meaningful time.

Sunday-to-Sunday worship – that’s what we want next week to be all about. Jesus died and rose again; that’s something to celebrate. Be sure to be in service Sunday as we worship together and connect with one another. Hope to see you there.

In Christ,
