The Sunday Update | April 30, 2017

For such a Time as This

Paul proposed a gospel that was a travesty to many. He seemed to be overturning centuries of tradition with his gospel of grace. What right did he have to make such claims? Was he trying to pick a fight with the Jerusalem Apostles? Sunday we’ll find out and in so doing, we’ll see what gives you the right to speak in a world that values pluralism. From our passage in Galatians 1:11-24 we will discover the authenticating power the gospel brought in the life of Paul, and how that power changes you!

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Thursday 6 pm – Constitution Park

The National Day of Prayer has great meaning reminding us of our founding fathers who sought the wisdom of God when facing critical decisions. It calls us to humbly seek God and His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people. The NDP reaffirms that prayer is a linchpin for our nation today as it was in the beginning. Join us to meet and pray with believers from our city to seek God’s grace and guidance in these perilous times.

Our theme Sunday morning centers on the authority that God gives through his word and the power of the gospel to change the unlikeliest of people – even us! I pray you’ll be in service to see the great potential that God has placed in you.

Don’t forget National Day of Prayer on Thursday. If you have to rearrange your schedule, do it to be a part of this great movement.

In Christ,
