No Longer Children

God wants us to grow up and not be satisfied with living under confused, out-of-focus living. Sunday we’re taking a fresh look at Ephesians 4:7-16, a familiar passage where we have almost universally missed the point. As we saw last week, there is a better way to live. We can step into the light of God’s clean air of spiritual maturity and find there’s a new way to live in the Spirit. Don’t miss this important message that sets the foundation for real life change.

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. (Ephesians 4:15-16 NLT)
