Luke 15:11-32 speaks of two sons; not just one. The other son is smart, well-behaved, and morally upright. He is an exemplary son. Yet Sunday we’ll see that the other son can be just as much an angry rebel as the wayward son. It’s going to be a meaningful time together as we look back on one who obviously needed the father’s forgiving touch, and also look forward on a covert rebel who had the right appearance, but not the right heart. We all need this message. It’s going to be a great time of worship, singing, and challenge as we meet God together. Make sure you’re with us in service!
It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.
