Failure. We have to deal with it. We had such high hopes and showed such great promise, but we blew it! We know about God’s forgiveness and we even believe it; but we’re discouraged and afraid. Is there really a road back? Will God really take us back? Sunday we’ll see that he does! God will restore us to an abundant life but we must be willing to take some real faith steps to get there.
And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law. There was not a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners who lived among them. (Joshua 8:34-35 ESV)
