Called to Freedom

Called to Freedom

Good morning and welcome to Chapel City Church. We are so thankful that you have joined us for our time of worship today, and our prayer is that you are encouraged in your faith as we sing, pray, and study God’s Word together. This week we will continue working through Galatians chapter 5. In verse 13 Paul comes back to the idea that as Christians, we have been called to freedom. But what are we free to do? In just a few short verses, Paul works through how we apply our freedom, either in pursuit of our own desires or in service to others. He also explores the outcome of how we use our freedom, whether that result is obedience to God or harm to the body. We would love to know how we can be praying specifically for you, and to have the opportunity to answer any questions that you might have about the sermon, a specific ministry, or Chapel City as a whole.

For you were called to freedom,  brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
