Consider Jesus

Consider Jesus

This week we continue our study through the book of Hebrews. In the first two chapters we have seen Jesus described as “better”… the better prophet, the heir of all things, the very radiance of God’s glory, the One who upholds all things, better than angels, the exact representation of God’s nature. We have been encouraged to pay close attention to the truth of salvation Jesus brings; He humbled Himself and made a way for us to be free from the slavery of sin and the fear of death. Now in Hebrews 3, we are pointed again to Jesus by looking at one of the giants of the Jewish faith: Moses.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. Hebrews 3:1
