The Church in Process: The Christian’s Calling

The Church in Process: The Christian’s Calling

Welcome to Chapel City Church! Today we begin our journey through another book of the Bible as we open the pages of
1 Corinthians. Most of us are familiar with parts and pieces of the letter. There are well-known passages that deal with the spiritual gifts, with the definition of love, and with the resurrection. But this letter was written to a church that struggled in many areas. They were loved by God and dear to Paul, but they were divisive and contentious. They turned a blind eye to sin and abandoned the loving order God called the church to live in. But what are the foundational things we need to know as we begin? Who was Paul and what does he hope to accomplish? What are the encouragements and warnings we need to receive nearly 2000 years after the letter was written? We would love to answer any questions you have and to know how we can be praying for you specifically. Please reach out through a connection card, phone call, or email.
