Wisdom & Worship

Wisdom & Worship

Welcome to Chapel City Church! As we work our way through the book of Proverbs, our goal is to put wisdom into practice. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and our greatest desire is to worship God with our whole lives. But what does worship look like? How do wisdom and worship overlap? If we know that wisdom is more than a collection of facts, then it makes sense that worship is more than a group of religious activities. This week we will look at Proverbs and other scriptures that remind us of precious truths. We will consider who God is, and why his power and wisdom draw us to worship. We will also think through the practical wisdom associated with worship. How does thinking rightly shape my approach to God? If you have any questions, or if there is a way that we can be praying for you specifically, please reach out and let us know!

Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
But the prayer of the upright is His delight. Proverbs 15:8
