Something to Agree On

We often ignore the things we agree on and fight over the obscure things. 1 Timothy 2:8-15 opens up many thorny questions, strong emotions and cultural minefields that we need to address. Yet there are also clear statements that we tend to ignore. Sunday I’m praying that God will open our hearts to be the prioritized people he has called us to be.

Chapel City Church Information

This Sunday at 6 pm!
We’re excited about the future of Chapel City Church as we continue to follow the Lord together. If you would like to know more about who we are, or you are interested in joining with us, come to our information class in the overflow room. Email me if you need child care so we can take care of your needs, or if you just want more information! You can also let us know Sunday morning.

September 25th A New Schedule!

Excitement is building as we move to two services at 9:00 and 10:45. With a great time of fellowship between services, we’re looking forward to greater energy and an enhanced worship time. Our children share in the fun of family fellowship so we’re asking parents to check their children out for the fellowship hour. Be praying for a great time as we worship God with enthusiasm and connect with one another!

Business Meeting 9/25 at 6 pm

This is the first business meeting since the Big Reveal of our mission, vision and values and we want to report what’s been happening and what’s on tap for the future. Lots of great things have happened this summer. Get there early so we can rejoice together on what God is doing here at Chapel City Church.

Communion Service Opportunity!

We’re looking for communion preparers on the even-numbered months to arrive half hour before first service (8:30), prepare and place the communion trays, and take about 10 minutes after the first service to clean up. It’s a great chance to serve and maybe even involve your kids as well. Contact Amy Arthur for details.

Sunday will be a special day as we praise God, look into his word and hear another story of how God’s transforming grace reaches the seemingly unreachable for his glory! Hope to see you in service.

In Christ,
