Our Mission (Why do we exist?)
Calling all people to receive, demonstrate, and declare God’s transforming grace through Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:16).
God’s grace freely offered through Jesus Christ really does transform people’s lives. We want our lives to be that invitation by being a visual expression of changed lives and a verbal explanation of how our lives have been transformed by Jesus.
Values (What do we value?)
As the local body of Christ, all of our core values must derive from and align with the teachings of Scripture. This is, and must remain, foundational to who we are and what we do. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- Relationship – Sharing our faith and love, our struggles and victories, while remaining accountable to one another. Our goal is lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. (John 13:35; 1 John 4:7-11; Hebrews 10:24-25; Galatians 6:1-4)
- Generosity – Practicing servant-hood in freely giving of our material resources, our time, and ourselves as a willing sacrifice to the Lord and to others. (2 Corinthians 9:7-8; 1 Timothy 6:18; Romans 12:1-2)
- Discipleship – Developing the faith of believers to equip and enable them to lead a godly life and one of service for Christ’s kingdom. (Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:12-13; John 17:18).
- Outreach – Fullfilling the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel with lost and hurting people in Camarillo and the world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
