Christmas Eve Services
We’re having one morning service at 9:00 am and an afternoon service at 3:30 pm. It will be a family-oriented service so there will be childcare only through preschool. Kids Kindergarten & above will meet with parents in the service.
Chapel City Church is located on the corner of Arneill Road and Ventura Boulevard in the heart of “Old Town,” Camarillo. The Chapel City Bell Tower can be seen from the 101 freeway as you enter town, from the boulevard as you drive through Old Town, and as you come down Arneill Road to the bridge.
As you pull up to the church in Old Town Camarillo, you will be struck by the historic look of the church building – a site that has had a rich heritage of faith for many years.
The warm, friendly atmosphere sets the stage for upbeat contemporary worship, relevant messages, and the wonderful people that make up this unique congregation. Most of our folks come California casual, so don’t feel like you have to dress up for us!
We have two services to at 9:00 and 10:45 am, so you can pick one that best suits your schedule. If you choose to make a morning of it, check out our graded class schedules. You’ll find some great classes for your entire family and have a chance to see our Sunday Morning Small Groups in action.
Directions
From the north (Somis, Moorpark): Take the 118 (L.A. Avenue) towards Somis Road. Head south on Somis Road towards Camarillo. At Las Posas Road, continue straight onto Lewis Road. Take Lewis Road south, continuing underneath the 101 freeway, and make a right turn onto Ventura Boulevard. Chapel City Church is up the hill on your right, at the intersection of Arneill Road.
From the east (Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, San Fernando Valley): Take the 101 freeway north (west). Exit at Lewis Road and make a left turn onto Daily Drive. Make a left turn at the first signal, Arneill Road. Cross the Arneill Road bridge and Chapel City Church is on the left.
From the south (CSUCI, Point Mugu, Malibu): From the Pacific Coast area, take Lewis Road north, towards Camarillo. Make a left turn onto Ventura Boulevard. Chapel City Church is up the hill on your right, at the intersection of Arneill Road.
From the west (Oxnard, Ventura, Ojai, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara): Take the 101 freeway south (east). Exit Lewis Road and make a right onto Ventura Boulevard. Chapel City Church will be on your right, at the intersection of Arneill Road.
Parking
Disabled Parking is available directly in front of the church entrance. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Yellow House, just west of the Lewis Lofts. Some street side parking is available in front of the Yellow House. Additional Parking close by is on South Glenn Drive near Dizdar Park. There is a large public parking lot just southwest of the church, in the Studio Channel Islands lot (formerly Pleasant Valley School and Los Primeros School).
