Building an Album of Faith
Sunday is one of those change-up Sundays where we dedicate a special time for our kids (of all ages) to experience a communion service with a little extra explanation and meaning designed just for them. There will be a good lead in to worship and a praise response as we celebrate the communion. Add to that dedicating a child to the Lord and an encouraging word from the Edwards as they prepare for Tanzania and we have a meaningful service planned.
In our message time we’ll remember that a single smell, an errant sound, or a forgotten picture can transport us back to a long-forgotten, far-away place and unlock a treasure trove of memories. We’ll consider the biblical concept of remembering and how having a personal album of faith can deepen our experience with God.
Mom-to-Mom
Mom to Mom is a safe, loving place to be encouraged, develop friendships and to learn about biblical principles relating to womanhood, marriage, parenthood and the home from other moms a bit further down the road. Meeting the second Thursday of each month starting September it’s an opportunity that moms of all ages won’t want to miss. Space is limited so click here for details and sign up soon!
Summer Specials August 4th
Wednesday is our last Summer Special of 2016. Tonya Smith is preparing her famous pulled pork so you don’t want to miss this scrumptious meal! We’re hoping to have a time of sharing God’s blessings over the summer so be thinking ahead of those words of encouragement, challenge, and faith-building experiences that can lead us all to praise.
As we look forward to a special time of remembrance, I’m praying that we’ll see you in service on Sunday as we come together to sing, pray, learn, and remember the great gifts that God has given us. See you then!
