It’s a tri tip barbecue that will bring us together as we say goodbye to our 2017 Summer Specials. Spend a relaxed summer’s eve around the tables with us as we eat, talk, laugh, and connect in one another’s lives. It’s been a great summer capped with this delicious meal so don’t stay home!
SMALL GROUP LEADER TRAINING
SUNDAY – SECOND HOUR
Small group leaders and hosts, you will be sharpening your skills the next two weeks in the upstairs high school room so make every effort to be there!
But it’s not just for current leaders. If you’re interested in knowing what it takes to facilitate or host a group be sure to be there. We’re looking for good leaders that can help us grow this ministry. Let’s pray together that God will expand this ministry in the fall.
MOM TO MOM SWIM DAY
AUGUST 14th 10:00 – NOON
Relax and enjoy a great time with other moms. Mom to Mom is sponsoring a swim at the Holdens’ to get to know one another better. Get to know our Mom to Mom program and participants. It’s not too early to register for the fall program. You’re on your own for snacks. Here are directions and registration forms.
KIDS’ COMMUNION – IT’S BRING YOUR KIDS TO CHURCH SUNDAY
It’s a “show-and-tell” Sunday as parents bring their kids into the main service. We’ll show them Jesus through the communion’s symbols and tell them through the visuals that we see in John 13:1-17. They’ll participate in multi-generational worship and then return to their classes for their own lesson. Meanwhile, in our passage we’ll see the incredible ministry that Jesus has in our lives and how we, in turn, practice that same ministry in one another. I hope you’ll make a special effort to be in service on Sunday with your kids for this memorable time of worship!
