August 9th – Hearing God’s Word – Be Careful What You Wish For
What would it be like to actually receive God’s word directly; personally. What a thrill it would be to give out the message that he had given you! As we open some studies on some anonymous spokesmen, we might say “be careful what you wish for.” God’s word is not always gentle falling on our ears as a soothing, comforting message. As we open up the book of Hosea on Sunday we will see God’s staggering message that could have been written for our time and our place; yet in the end we will see the greatness of God’s mercy and kindness.
I hope you will join us as we open some rarely seen truths in God’s word and find great hope for a wonderful future.
