We worship God who has poured out so many incredible mercies on us that offering anything less than our entire selves would be ungrateful. Our faith, rooted in the incarnation, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, has the ultimate moral authority as well as the effective power to transform our lives according to God’s plan. This is a good place to be this day. Don’t waste it! Be engaged from beginning to end in worship of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
