Choosing Our Path: Sinai or Zion

Choosing Our Path: Sinai or Zion

There are choices that are foundational that affect every area of life; relationships, career, goals, and fundamental philosophy. The problem is that these are so basic that we often overlook them for the needs of the moment. This week we compare what we settle for when we think about what we could have. It’s a sobering yet exciting thought that a course change can change our entire outlook on life. Read through the passage for a great backdrop for our study.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:22-24 ESV)
