Great is the Lord

Today, our service will look a little bit different than normal, but for very good reason. Churches go through seasons of change. Over the past year, this body has seen the retirement of Pastor Jim who was a faithful shepherd for over 30 years. We have said goodbye to Pastor Patrick as he and his family pursue God’s leading to Idaho and a new ministry there. We have welcomed Pastor Matt and his family as they begin their ministry here. And through all of that change, the Lord has been kind, gracious, and faithful. We never want to take for granted the fact that God guides, directs, and provides for His church. Today, we will spend our time of worship together praising God for that great faithfulness. We will hear from various parts of the body as they proclaim what God has done, even in areas that we might be unaware of. Join us as we give God the glory He so richly deserves!

One generation shall commend your works to another,
and shall declare your mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,
and I will declare your greatness.
They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness
and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.
