Happy New Year, and welcome to Chapel City Church. The new year is a time of looking back and looking forward. We reflect on the year that has passed, and we rejoice in all that God has done. We look forward to a year where we make our plans, but trust that the Lord will guide our steps. As we come together on a day of transition from one year to another, it’s good for us to remember who God is and what he has done. Today, we open up Psalm 98, a new song for the new year. It’s a song that calls us to remember what God has done, to rejoice in His presence, and to anticipate his restoration.
