This week we will have the privilege of hearing from one of our elders: Walter Lopatka. We have been looking at the Lord’s Prayer, but this week our attention will move to the book of Hebrews. We were created for the purpose of worship and fellowship with God. But why does that call matter and what motivates us to carry out that great purpose? What did the people of God have under the Old Covenant, and why is what we have under the New Covenant even greater? We hope that as you consider the unshakable kingdom that God has prepared for His people that you will be drawn to praise Him all the more. If there is a way that we can be praying for you, or if there is a need that we might help meet, we hope that you will reach out and let us know. We are looking forward to the day when we can all gather together again here at church, but we are even more anxiously awaiting the coming King and his unshakable kingdom!
Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe. Hebrews 12:28
