Welcome to Chapel City Church. We are glad that you are here, and we would love to know how we can be praying for you specifically. As we open God’s word together this week, we will come to the end of our study of the Minor Prophets. Malachi is the last book in our Old Testament, and the final word of God to his people before 400 years of silence. As God makes statements to his people, the prophet anticipates their questions in return. This week we will close the book with three questions that all revolve around one major question- Can I trust God? Will he really do what is just and right? Will he really provide for his people? What’s the point of obedience when disobedience seems much easier? The answers to these questions were critical for Malachi’s audience, but they are just as relevant for us today.
For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.
