Debts & Debtors

Welcome to Chapel City Church! Thank you for joining us as we gather together to worship Jesus Christ, our savior and king. As we have worked through Mathew 18, we have seen disciples compared to children and to sheep. Both of those ought to lead us to live lives of consistent humility. And over the last couple of weeks, we looked at how necessary that humility was as we approach the topic of discipline. But what happens after discipline? If there are times when others sin against us, then we are going to need to understand what forgiveness looks like. But how often are we required to forgive? What is our forgiveness based on? What happens if we choose not to walk in forgiveness? Please reach out and let us know how we can be praying for you or ministering to you during these trying times. We would love to know how we can walk alongside of you!

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.
