Don’t Sleep Through 2016

Don’t Sleep Through 2016

We will celebrate the new year with a challenge wake up and not sleep through 2016. Looking through John 11:4-16, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, and Romans 13:12-14, we will see what God has to say about the difference between being spiritually alert and spiritually lethargic. It is a great challenge as we look forward to the next 12 months and an opportunity to cap it all off with a great remembrance of the communion. Don’t miss this great day for a new beginning.

The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.” (Romans 13:12-14 ESV)
