For Such a Time as This

Paul proposed a gospel that was a travesty to many. He seemed to be overturning centuries of tradition with his gospel of grace. What right did he have to make such claims? Was he trying to pick a fight with the Jerusalem Apostles? Sunday we’ll find out and in so doing, we’ll see what gives you the right to speak in a world that values pluralism. From our passage in Galatians 1:11-24 we will discover the authenticating power the gospel brought in the life of Paul, and how that power changes you!

For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel. For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.  (Galatians 1:11-12)
