Welcome to Chapel City Church! We are working through the book of Galatians, and the major theme has been the gospel message. We have seen that it is a singular gospel; there is no other message that brings salvation. We have seen the origins of the gospel. It is not a man-made path to God, but a revelation of the person and work of Jesus Christ. And we have seen the unity that the gospel brings. Because the church has always proclaimed one message, salvation by grace through faith alone, the church has always had unity in its mission. Peter and Paul might have been called to different specific ministries, but they were both outworkings of a singular great commission. Today we will look at what happens when our lives don’t mirror the gospel message that we preach. Because the gospel is the only thing that saves, it is worth contending for. Paul was willing to point out the false brethren who corrupted the purity of the gospel. But Paul was also willing to confront fellow believers when they practically denied the gospel that they proclaimed. If you have questions, or if there is a way that we can be praying for you specifically, please reach out and let us know!
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
