Welcome to our time of worship together at Chapel City Church. We are glad that you are here, and we would love to know how we can be praying for you. Jesus promised to build his church, and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. But what makes a church an actual church? As we move through the book of Acts, we find several things that mark the church that Christ promised to build. In addition to being indwelt by the Spirit and enabled to do the work of ministry through His gifting, the church has consistent characteristics. But what are those universal priorities of the church? What are those key things that the people of God have seen as critical from the very beginning?
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
