The Gospel as a Group Effort

The Gospel as a Group Effort

It is a wonderful thing when the body of Christ comes together. It’s a reminder that God brings people who have every reason to be separated together through the work of the Spirit. It is powerful to see people bring their various gifts and talents together for the building up of the body. Those blessings of doing ministry together are exactly how Paul closes his letter to the Colossian church. It’s more than a list of names for us to read quickly or skip over entirely. It’s a touching picture of Paul’s affection for those who labored with him in gospel ministry. Who do you labor with? How does your gift integrate into the body here at Chapel City? Do we really understand that the church is only effective as we do ministry together? If we can be praying for you, or if you have questions about who we are or what we do, then we would love to hear from you!

And say to Archippus, “See that you fulfill the ministry that you have received in the Lord.” I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
Colossians 4:17-18
