Welcome to our time of worship here at Chapel City Church. We are glad that you’ve joined us and would love to know how we can be praying for you and coming alongside you. This week we come to the end of Hosea. The Lord has spoken through his prophet and warned his people about the judgment that is coming. The rebellion and sin of Israel must be dealt with. However, they refuse to listen. The people continue on in their idolatry and rejection, and tragedy is coming. But that is not the final word. In his mercy, God closes this prophetic book with a promise of restoration. But what will that look like? What does it take to bring a dead nation back to life?
Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take with you words and return to the Lord; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips.
