During this advent season, we are taking time to prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The incarnation of the Son of God is more than a historical reality. It’s the proof of God’s faithfulness to all that he has promised. It’s the beginning of God’s plan of redemption played out in human history. It’s why we celebrate familiar themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. But where does real joy come from? We know that we are called to rejoice always, and we know that joy is a fruit of the Spirit. But what are the truths that we know about God that make joy possible in every time and every circumstance? We would love to know how we can be praying for you, or if there are needs that we might help meet during this season.
