Welcome to our time of worship together here at Chapel City Church. We are thankful that you are here and would love the opportunity to answer your questions or to know how we can be praying for you. YHWH relates to his people through a special relationship called a covenant. Much more than a contract or a legal obligation, a covenant is an intimate relationship in which the lives of the members are pledged to one another. God is faithful, and makes great promises. But the God who is faithful to his promises is also faithful to his threats. In Amos 3 and 4 we see God’s faithfulness in spite of Israel’s faithlessness. When YHWH roars, is there any hope of avoiding his justice? Is there a hope of grace for his covenant-breaking people?

therefore I will punish you
for all your iniquities.
