This morning, we will open up the next book in our study of the minor prophets. Like the other prophets that we have worked through, Amos has much to say about the holiness, sovereignty, justice, and mercy of God. But what makes Amos different? How does a book written nearly 3,000 years ago help us think carefully about who God is and how we approach him?
The Lord roars from Zion

and utters his voice from Jerusalem;
