From Guilt to Glory:  Hope in Hopeless Times

From Guilt to Glory:  Hope in Hopeless Times

Welcome to Chapel City Church. Thank you for joining us for our time of corporate worship. We would love to know how we can be praying specifically for you or coming alongside you, so please reach out to us with any questions or needs. As we conclude the Book of Micah this morning, we will encounter a prophet in distress. Micah is living during a wicked time and living among a wicked people. He has revealed the righteous judgement of God, and he knows that severe discipline is coming. It’s a situation that would naturally bring discomfort, distress, and sorrow. So how do God’s people respond to difficulty? Where is hope when you are living in hopeless times?

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
    and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.

Micah 7:18
