Good Friday: He Bore Our Sins…

Welcome to our Good Friday service here at Chapel City Church. We are so glad that you have joined us for this special evening of remembrance, reflection, and repentance. Most of us can picture the familiar scenes of Good Friday. We can picture Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. We can visualize him before Pilate. We have seen the images of the Son of God hanging on the cross. But do we understand why? Have we wrestled with the reality that Christ suffered for sins that were not his? And do we know what that means for us today? We hope that as we sing, read, and study, that you will be reminded of the hope that Good Friday promises. The hope of forgiveness for our sins, and the hope of living in obedience because he has made us alive!
