Gospel Unity

Gospel Unity

Welcome to Chapel City Church. We are glad that you have joined us for worship today, and we would love to know how we can be praying for you. This week we will move into Galatians chapter 2. In the first chapter, Paul made a clear case that the gospel that he preached did not come from human imagination or intuition. He even pointed out that after his conversion he did not immediately seek out the other disciples for their input and guidance. However, chapter two highlights the consistency of the gospel message preached by Paul and the other apostles. Paul makes it clear that while the gospel is singular in its power and authority, it unites believers in the various missions that God has called them to. But what is the threat being made to that unity? How does Paul’s interaction with the other apostles confirm both his ministry and his message?
