Hope of the Nations

Hope of the Nations

Over the course of the last two weeks, we have been confronted with the fact that sin is a matter of the heart. We are unclean not because we touch or eat unclean things, but because our hearts are fallen and sinful. That means that the solution isn’t an external fix or following a list of rules. The only answer is the radical heart transformation that the gospel brings. But what are the limits of that gospel? Who can be saved? Is this Jesus the hope of the Jews, or is he something more, something greater? If there are questions that we can answer for you, or if there are specific ways that we can be praying for you, please reach out and let us know.

And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Matthew 15:26-28
