Last week we considered an encounter between Jesus and the Pharisees, in which Jesus exposed their hypocrisy and vain worship. But we are left in the middle of the story. What does everyone make of this? What do the disciples think? What do the scribes and Pharisees think? What about the onlookers? How will they respond? What does this all mean?
