Thank you for joining us for worship here at Chapel City Church. We are glad that you are here, and we would love to know more about you and how we can be praying for you. This week, we will move into Matthew chapter 16. We have seen what kind of Kingdom Jesus is offering. It’s a kingdom of power, of restoration, of wholeness and plenty. And we have seen that this kingdom is for the Jew and the Gentile. There is one God, one Savior, one King and coming Kingdom. But how will people respond? Surely those who saw these marvelous things would understand that Jesus was speaking the truth! How is it then that there is still misunderstanding and outright rejection? Why do even those who are closest to Christ still exhibit “little faith,” and what hope is there for those of us who still struggle to understand the truth of the Kingdom?
