Psalm 139: Our Intimacy with God

Psalm 139: Our Intimacy with God

Welcome to Chapel City Church! Thanks you for joining us for our time of worship here at Chapel City Church. We are so glad you are here! Today we will look at how intimate God is with each of us. We have looked at his sovereignty, that is his power and control over everything. But how does His “bigness” touch each of us personally? In Psalm 139 David beautifully describes how God does that, as he prays to his amazing Heavenly Father. May you be encouraged today as we focus on the intimacy of God that wraps each of us in His arms.  We would love to know how we can be praying for you. Please reach out and let us know, or to ask any questions that you might have!

O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
    you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
    and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
    behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
    and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
    it is high; I cannot attain it.

Psalm 139:1-6
