Redeeming Love

Redeeming Love

Thank you for joining us for our time of worship here at Chapel City Church. As we move through the Minor Prophets, we are going to be consistently reminded of the sovereignty, holiness, justice, and mercy of God. Last week was a sobering reminder that sin is serious, and that God is just in his judgement. Israel’s idolatry and rebellion could not be ignored. But God in his mercy does not allow judgement to be the final word in the lives of his people. He will restore what he has taken away. But why does God do this? How can a holy God act with kindness and even blessing toward sinful people? We would love to talk with you, to pray with you, and to answer any questions that you might have.

“I will sow her for Myself in the land. I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, and I will say to those who were not My people ‘You are My people!’ And they will say, ‘You are my God!’”

Hosea 2:23
