Welcome to Chapel City Church –

Welcome to our time of corporate worship here at Chapel City Church. We are so glad that you have joined us, and would love the opportunity to answer any questions that you might have. We would also like to know how we can be praying specifically for you, so please reach out through the comment cards, an email, or a phone call and let us know!

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is familiar topic to any believer. We wear a cross as jewelry, we decorate our church with this symbol, and commemorate the event on Good Friday. Today, we want to take a new look at an old message – reminding ourselves that Jesus said we should take up our cross daily and follow Him.

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:5-11
