Who do you say that Jesus is? That’s been a critical question throughout Matthew’s gospel. How you answer that question has eternal implications. As we come to the end of Matthew 22 and the beginning of Matthew 23, the identity of Jesus is on display once again. He asks the religious leaders about the Christ, whom they rightly identify as the son of David. But is there more to the messiah than being a great earthly king? Is he more than simply the son of David? Our prayer is that whether you are with us in person or online, whether you are a guest or a member, that you can confidently answer the question- Who is Jesus?
