Welcome to Chapel City Church! As we prepare to celebrate the wonder of Christmas, we want to turn our eyes toward the greatest gift ever given. Although we rejoice in the birth of Christ all year long, there is a special significance to this time of year. We remember the journey to Bethlehem, the manger, and the shepherds. We remember angels singing and a young mother treasuring these things in her heart. But this week, we are going to consider the unimaginable value of the gift Himself. Who is Jesus and what is he like? What did it cost for him to offer salvation to his people? And why do these truths bring hope and joy in every season?
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
