Transformed from “Come & See” to “Go & Be Like Me”

Jesus began his ministry with a simple call for a few men to “come and see” who he was and what he was going to do. Jesus transformed our world and the people he interacted with, especially those disciples. He leads them from “Come and See” to “Go and be like me.” Every part of that process hinges on the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. His death paid the price of our adoption into God’s family, and his resurrection is the guarantee that the payment was perfect. This Sunday we will hear either for the first time or the 100th, the transforming result of Christ’s resurrection.
