Rejection – feeling like you’re on the outside and you don’t belong. It’s a horrible feeling. It’s far worse when you’re trying to do the right thing. As we look at 1 Peter 2:4-10, we’ll see the difference between struggling people who live for the acceptance of the crowd and those who live with purpose. It’s an inspiring theme for all of us, but especially for those who are living in the crucible of pain, suffering, uncertainty, or rejection. I hope you’ll be in service.
Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:10 ESV)
