Happy Thanksgiving, and welcome to Chapel City Church! We are glad that you are with us today, and we hope that this week has given you the chance to pause and thank God for the blessings that you enjoy. We are a forgetful people, and it is easy to allow our circumstances to rob us of the hope that we have in God and his promises. As we close the book of Acts, we have the opportunity to be reminded of the hope of the church. The body of Christ has the ability to remain hopeful despite obstacles and opposition. But how is that possible? What has God promised and provided that enables us to have this kind of hope? If you have questions, or if there is a way that we can be praying for you, please let us know!
And the brothers there, when they heard about us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and Three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul thanked God and took courage.
