When you’re really challenged by persecution or by the circumstances of life itself, your world tends to get smaller and you start to panic. Sunday we look at 1 Peter 1:22-2:3 to see a real alternative to crisis-centered thinking that rivets our eyes only on the storm. It’s terrifying! We’ll see an alternative that can help us rise above the storm. It’s an important lesson that is based on real, eternal principles, not on reactive impulse. I hope you will be here for an important time of worship and the word.

for

All flesh is like grass and

all its glory like the flower of grass.

The grass withers,

and the flower falls,

but the word of the Lord remains forever.’ (1 Peter 1:24-25 ESV)
