Please reach out to us either in person or on your connection card and let us know how we can come alongside you. This morning we will open up the first book in the minor prophets- Hosea. In chapter 1 of Hosea, we are given the summary of the book as a whole. We see broken promises, bitter reminders of the consequences of sin, and the beautiful reality of God’s mercy. Although we might not be as familiar with this portion of God’s Word, we are going to be constantly reminded of his holiness, his sovereignty, his justice, and his mercy.
When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea, “Go, take for yourself a wife of harlotry, and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the Lord.”
